Money money how you thrill me

This is an important intro to this post. Please read. *eheemmmmm*

So I am certain all the MU fans out there are mourning over their homeground defeat to ManCity. You don't have to wonder which team I am supporting right. Everyone pretty sure knows that I am a diehard fan of the Reds. Thus, YAAAAYYYYY to ManCity! Sorry uncles, cousins, Dad and of course.. the Prime Minister.

Today is the start of the 1 week sem break my college is having. As we are receiving our monthly allowance of RM 430 per month for foundation programmes, I am sad to declare that I have been spending them so unwisely. I am not a spend thrift. I am not. I am not. Okay enough with the denying missy. Let's see what I've spent them for. Clothes, movie tickets, food and necessary good. (note necessary) I know you do too. I therefore forgive myself for the spending. Bright side of it, I didn't have to ask kachings from my parents which is a good news to them and I too didn't have to carry the guilt for asking/begging for cash. Yes Mom and Dad, I do feel guilty for being such a spender :) but. i. just. can't. help. it.

Still, I must refrain myself from giving in to temptations, all these materials. My verdict to this is less outing. Plain impossible.

How did you spend your allowance? And what are your resolutions towards a spender like me?

Do share :)

First impression

What are the usual impression/s of people on you that you know of? Are you happy with it or vice versa?

As for the one speaking here, it defer according to the people themselves. I pretty got "muka sombong", "tida friendly", "not approachable", "garang", "blur-blur"... Hence, you've got the idea here.

A bit of clarification I may say. I am not sombong or what not. I do smile to people, with exception to strangers. But still, I do smile to certain strangers.. the good ones. My point is simple, don't judge a book by it's cover. You'll be surprised of the content without you knowing. Don't label.

Of course, I can't blame people entirely. It has been experimented that when Jane is not in favour of something, she shows it clearly on her face, according to her closest buddies. Yes, I am very frank, by looks especially. Yet, I know how hypocrisy can come in handy with a decent purpose.

I am not saddened (maybe a bit) nor angry of those impressions on me, but my little heart wishes people around aren't so judgemental. It also wishes that people will open their hearts and minds to accept the flaws that others have. I wish that the ethnocentrism in each of us won't prolong. I wish for friendship, a genuine one. I wish I simply wishes for things to be, just better.

To a dear friend of mine, I am truly sorry for having to judge you at first. I am also sorry that I did that based on what others told me of you. I am glad of our confrontation and the mistakes we admit on doing. I just want you to know that I'll be here for you whenever you need me. Do not be discouraged of your past, everyone has theirs. God is ever merciful.

This goes to another friend, I know that it's hard to have faith when things go all wrong and unanswered. I know how hard it is to believe when we are not seeing what we want to see. I truly know. But as much as I said that I know, only you know yourself best. I hope that you won't give up and consume those anger in you. I pray that He opens your heart, once again.

Let them hate, as long as they fear.

Mother Nature versus Us

Earlier this morning, we (wherever you are in any part of Sabah) experienced the heavy rain and thunderstorm. As for myself, I was awaken at around 4-ish when I felt bit of the vibration perhaps coming from the thunder itself, all loud and mighty. On my way to college, fallen trees and poles everywhere. Traffic jam was massive. But that's not the point, my point is.. we can never go against Mother Nature.

As far as I can recall, this is the worst by far. I am still puzzled of how the construction signage at the entrance of my college could collapse to that extent. I'm taking it as somehow also a wake up call that we can never expect what's ahead. Be it the awful weather or life threatening situations, we often take life for granted. Only during these times that we slowly recite our prayers because we are afraid. True or false, we ourselves determine.

Again, at the end of the day, we are all human. I, you, her, and him. Often too stubborn, often too neglectful, often too ignorant. Let's then just live life to the fullest without never failing to appreciate what we are blessed with.

Mother Nature always wins.

Let bygones be bygones

This blog has been totally obsolete. My apologies goes to those who dropped by my chat box, I didn't get to reply all of you on time. Hi all! And of course thank you for those who are following. Shia bilang... biasa-biasa seja ni... :)

Months passed, entered new phases of life and rare experiences gained. May it be bitter, sweet, spicy or sour, I am very much grateful to have learnt my lessons. Family, love, friendship and most of all God - are reasons why I am still standing strong til the very moment. Since I am still blurred with what I should write about, I'll go on about the four above.

Family - I consider myself as being very fortunate and blessed to have a family like mine. I have a mother that is not only just a mother, but acts as a best friend and a guarAlign Rightdian angel. I have a father who cooks the most amazing food that my tummy can afford. I have two younger sisters that are part time annoyance to my head yet never fail to rock my days and nights especially. In short, they are the ones who have been my backbone and I thank God everyday for them.

Love & Friendship - There are just certain things that you can't hold on to for too long. Do what you think is best and never regret! Because regrets are stupid. For now, thank you am. For keeping up with me! For the friendship. You know who you are. Tarster and Nicky, love you both, for not failing to be with me.

The Almighty God - I may not be that religious and all, but I strongly believe in what my religion teaches me. Though there are so many times that you and I failed to obey, I believe that God is merciful and ever forgiving. I pray and thank God for His blessings despite my ignorance. God is love and love is God.

That's it for now. Still reminiscing the consequences I have to bear for procrastinating on my EI assignment. Sob. Lesson learnt!

I'm lovin it

First week of lectures was an easy going one. My class even get to dismiss earlier than the timetable. So far we had Language Description, Emotional Intelligence, English Studies, Social Studies and Language Development. I have to say that Social Studies is my favourite so far because it simply can be related to what's revolving around anywhere at anytime. Anyhow, still think it's a little too early to judge because this week was all about the introductions and knowing what to expect.

I casted my vote yesterday for the very first time for the JPP election. An official voting where you have to cross the candidate that you choose and put it into the box provided. Ha ha.. I was hyped up a while for feeling all important. Vain. There's this event tomorrow called 1Murid 1Sukan 1Malaysia that will be held simultaneously throughout schools in Malaysia to officiate the implementation of 1Murid 1Sukan. 3 million participations is said to be expected. This time I will not be running as a school pupil anymore, but as a Teacher Trainee. Cross fingers I will not end up strutting.

On another hand, today's discussion during Language Development class was about Writing Process where our topic just had to be..... Justin Bieber. Bieberism. Bieber Fever. How did he started? What's our role? Why has he affected us? ( I know right! ) Very interesting and argumental much because obviously there was love and hate opinions where hatred dominated and my group solely remained neutral, no feelings, we're neutral observers. As for me, I have nothing against Bieber, I have the shirt from his recent concert in KL, I listen to his songs and he's living his dream. Come on, give that boy some space to live his life. As simple as that. We too talked about homosexuality and how gay people have their basic rights. I love intriguing discussions! After LD we were supposed to have Thinking Skills lecture but lecturer didn't turn up so pictures below marks the end of the first Friday at IPG.

Nicole and I. Coincidently wore the same turquoise coloured kurung

As camera ready as ever

That's Nicole, Tara, Bobby, Bernard and I. Bernard has the biiiigest obsession on Gaga! I will be happily stucked in class with this people for another 5 years half. Of course the others too but they're a little special due to their whacky-ness. They're such joy!

Happy running to all the students in the whole country and be sure to have all the fun you can in your own ways! I'm talking like a teacher already.
